Crop PDF pages online by selecting the visible area you want to keep.

Choose one PDF to crop

Your PDF stays in your browser. Maximum 25 MiB and 100 pages.

How to Crop a PDF

  1. Choose one PDF from your device.
  2. Select a page and drag or resize the visible crop area.
  3. Apply the crop to that page or proportionally to all pages.
  4. Select Crop PDF, then download cropped.pdf.

Crop PDF Pages Visually

The page editor shows the PDF's current visible page boundary. Move the crop rectangle and use its handles to select the area that should remain visible.

Crop Individual PDF Pages

Each page keeps an independent crop selection. Apply a crop to one page, select another page, and choose a different visible area.

Apply the Same Crop to All Pages

Apply crop to all pages copies the active page's normalized proportions. Each page uses those proportions against its own current visible boundary, including portrait, landscape, rotated, custom-size, and offset pages.

Cropping Does Not Remove Hidden Content

Cropping changes the visible page area. Content outside the crop area may remain in the PDF file, including text, images, links, annotations, and form data. Cropping is not redaction and is not a secure way to remove sensitive information.

Saving a modified PDF may invalidate an existing digital signature. Preservation of advanced features such as bookmarks and attachments is not guaranteed.

PDF Page Boxes and Cropping

This tool changes each selected page's CropBox, which controls its visible page area. It does not intentionally change MediaBox, BleedBox, TrimBox, ArtBox, or page rotation, and it does not rasterize or rebuild pages.

Privacy and Local Processing

PDF validation, previews, cropping, output generation, and validation happen locally in your browser. Your PDF is not uploaded to Savezly or sent to an external PDF-processing service.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I crop a PDF?

Choose a PDF, select a page, adjust its crop area, apply the selection, and select Crop PDF before downloading the result.

Can I crop individual PDF pages?

Yes. Each page can store a different crop selection.

Can I apply the same crop to every page?

Yes. Apply crop to all pages copies the active selection's normalized proportions to each page's current visible boundary.

Does cropping permanently remove content outside the crop area?

No. Cropping changes the visible page area, but content outside it may remain in the PDF file.

Is cropping the same as redacting a PDF?

No. Cropping is not redaction and is not a secure way to remove sensitive information.

Will cropping reduce the PDF file size?

Not necessarily. Cropping changes page boundaries rather than compressing the PDF, and the saved file may be smaller or larger.
