QR Code Generator
Generate a static QR code for text or a URL directly in your browser.
Private browser processingYour text or URL is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to Savezly to generate the QR code.
How to Generate a QR Code
Enter text or a URL, select Generate QR Code, then download the finished code as PNG or SVG.
QR Codes for URLs and Text
The tool encodes the payload exactly as entered, whether it is plain text, a web address, or another text-based value.
PNG and SVG Downloads
PNG output is a 1024 × 1024 pixel image. SVG output is a scalable vector suitable for layouts that need flexible sizing.
QR Code Size and Quiet Zone
Every output retains the standard four-module light quiet zone around the black QR modules to support reliable scanning.
QR Error Correction
Error correction level M is applied automatically, balancing payload capacity with recovery from limited damage or obstruction.
Unicode and International Text
UTF-8 text including Arabic, CJK characters, and emoji is supported. Modern readers generally decode it, but compatibility with every legacy scanner is not guaranteed.
Do Static QR Codes Expire?
A locally generated static QR code does not expire. If it contains a destination URL, that URL can change or stop working.
Private QR Code Generation
Your payload stays in the browser and is not sent to Savezly or a remote QR service for generation.
Browser-Based Processing
The reviewed encoder and Savezly-owned PNG and SVG renderers run locally in your browser with no runtime CDN.
QR Code Capacity Limits
Input is limited to 2000 UTF-8 bytes. Byte size can differ from character count, especially for international text and emoji.
